   'New Dwelling', the house of Turgon in Nevrast under Mount Taras.

   The city of Turgon in Nevrast.
   The city of the Elves founded by Turgon and his followers after their return to Middle-earth at the beginning of the First Age. It lay beneath Mount Taras in Nevrast, and was inhabited for only about a century, after which Turgon and his people deserted it for Gondolin.
